Abstract:
This paper will deal with the representations of the earth's movements in pharaonic Egypt. At first,testimonies of an ancient literary pattern, the "sky and earth" figure, will be observed, and then, thepictures where earth is represented "alone". We will explore the different ways the Egyptians depictedand interpreted this phenomena through various texts.
