1. Corfua. In the neighbourhood of Garitsa was discovered part of the cemetery of the ancient city. Twenty-five burials were excavated, the most important of which were in pithoi (figs. 1 - 2 ), with funeral offerings of Corinthian or Corinthianizing type from the proto- Corinthian to the Corinthian period.b. In the project of restoring the church of the Monastery of Ag. Theo- doroi outside the city of Corfu, it was discovered that the early Christian church was built from material from the temple of Artemis and fragments were found of its decorative architectural sculpture.2. LeukasIn the village Karyotes was found a family tomb enclosure of Hellenistic times with seven cist tombs belonging to one of the rich families of the area (fig. 3).
