The excavation at the sanctuary of the Mother Goddess was continued this year. The research was concentrated north and east from the complex of buildings which had been discovered in the past two years. The excavation yielded new evidence and new rooms of the earlier building under the Hellenistic one. Furthermore, an open-air room flanked by two big walls was also found.4th and early third century pottery, corresponding to the earlier building phase was found, while the terracotta figurines, such as that of Eros riding Aswan, provide evidence which supports the suggestion for the worship of Aphrodite in the sanctury
